Harnessing the remarkable strength of Dead Sea clay, this ingredient is abundantly infused with naturally sourced minerals derived from the Dead Sea. Recognized for centuries, it possesses detoxifying, hydrating, anti-aging, and beautifying properties that have stood the test of time.

WHITE KAOLIN CLAY
Suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. Its soothing properties help easily irritated skin and complexions prone to breakouts, rashes, and redness.
GINKGO BILOBA LEAF EXTRACT
This antioxidant will fight and neutralize free radicals, which is the main cause of aging (fine lines, wrinkles), as well as limiting the damage from the sun rays on the skin.
ORGANIC ALOE VERA EXTRACT
A great natural moisturizer to soothe dry skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles. Can be used on any type of skin.
ROSEHIP BOTANICAL EXTRACT
Minimizes the appearance of wrinkles, smooths skin and dramatically improves skins moisture levels.
POMEGRANATE BOTANICAL EXTRACT (40% ELLAGIC ACID)
Aids in the process of healthy aging through its abundance of nutrients including Ellagic acid which helps protect skin from oxidative stress induced by UV radiation and the natural aging process.

Safety Information & Instructions

Mixing The Clay

Step 1: Start with approx. 1 heaped teaspoon of the Glow Mask in a small non-metal bowl.

Step 2: Slowly add no more than a 1/4 teaspoon of water and mix with a non-metal spoon (preferably a face mask applicator brush). Mix to a creamy mud-like consistency. Always begin with just a little water and continue to check the consistency. If you really want to make it special, add a few drops of jojoba oil.

Applying the Mask

Step 1: Begin with a clean, dry face free of make-up, moisturizers, etc.

Step 2: Using a face mask applicator brush, apply the mask to your face. You can apply using any technique that you like.

Step 3: Allow mask to dry for 5-10 minutes. As the clay dries you will feel a pulling and tightening sensation on your skin. For oily skin or a deeper cleanse, allow the mask to dry almost completely and then remove.

Removing the Mask

Step 1: Use warm water and the provided natural, soft bamboo wipe. Dampen the bamboo wipe or Konjac charcoal sponge with warm water and press and hold to the face before removal.

You can also use gentle circular motions with your fingers to help to stimulate circulation, polish your skin and provide an exfoliating action as the mask is removed.

Step 2: Gently pat the face dry completely with a soft face towel. After application of a clay mask, you will feel a tightening effect and the skin may even feel a bit tingly at first, remember the clay helping to increase circulation.

Step 3: Follow-up with your favourite face serum and moisturizer

Step 4: Enjoy your super smooth and beautifully fresh skin!

Skin so Soft and Fun to Use

Tl;dr: awesome all natural clay mask that is both effective and fun to use.

I received the delightful Glow Mask as a gift, and I love it! As the Clay Mask is a new product (to me, at least) it was the first thing that I tried. Each Aphora product is handcrafted with care and the mask is no different. If you've never purchased a mask that requires you to mix it up yourself, this mask my intimidate; however, don't worry! Mix with water and grab a brush and you are on your way to a home spa facial experience. It is awesome! Pros: rinses easily and your face feels so ahhmazing. Cons: the mixing may turn you off, but this is less a con and more of a question: how committed are you to your skin care? 😀Because this product is a great addition to your both your regular cleansing and to your special pampering routine 😍! Please note the brush and finger bowl are not included.
